1969-2004

Steve Ababio, born on the 17th of May 1968 is an international travel and adventure photographer with a deep passion for capturing and presenting destination stories of Africa from an African perspective to a global audience. He attended the Presbyterian Boys Secondary School in Accra also known as PRESEC.

He is an alumnus of the College of Art, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and a phenomenal photographer who has been involved in a number of print publications including CANOE, a Ghanaian-produced magazine which prided itself in featuring African design, art and fashion. He began documenting his travels in 2004/2005 when he returned to Ghana from the U.S.

He recently published The Chasing Waterfalls Guide showcasing the African continent in unique and exciting way.
